There’s no way this could happen. It would be a massive story.
And Republicans have been called to start a coup against President Trump in a shocking development.
Democrat Congresswoman Madeleine Dean of Pennsylvania went on CNN’s News Central this week and launched a full-throated assault on President Donald Trump, calling him “incoherent” and “unhinged” while scolding Republican lawmakers for not joining her in open rebellion.
Dean insisted Republicans have no business “sitting back” while Trump governs.
In her own words:
“The greater difference is what is going on in the Republican party. I couldn’t disagree more with the Republicans who are sitting back as the president, so incoherently and so grotesquely, corruptly pursues what he’s pursuing.”
“He doesn’t know how to get out of the war in Iran that he foolishly got into at Mr. Netanyahu’s behest. And so what does he do? He focuses on rubble and ruin and projects and affixing more gold to his White House office.”
“The president is in a terrible place. I’ve spoken multiple times with the speaker to say, you must come around him and say that what he is doing is incoherent.”
There it is. A Democrat lawmaker openly demanding that the Republican conference turn on the man voters put in the White House.
Dean’s version of leadership is pressuring the opposition party to undercut its own president.
She did not stop there. Dean dragged in a social media post from Trump ranking presidents, acting as if a bit of presidential self-assessment proved mental collapse.
She continued: “I don’t know if you saw the post this last week where he puts up a poster of himself as the greatest president, then underneath he categorizes greats, according to him, he’s the only greatest, in the greats are Lincoln, Washington, Andrew Jackson and some others.”
“And then failures of course, he has those he’s very jealous of—Mr. Biden, Mr. Obama and others. The president is unhinged, and the Republicans are what we should be worried about. Why are they following him so lemming like?”
According to Dean, the real crisis is not Democrat obstruction, open borders under the last administration, or the economic damage left behind.
No. The emergency is that Republicans refuse to treat Trump like a problem to be managed.
This is the same Democrat Party that spent years pushing the Russia collusion hoax, two impeachments, and lawfare against Trump and his supporters.
Now they are shocked that the GOP declines to play along with their latest narrative.
