The Left could be in for a long election season based on how the polls are looking. Their hopes of winning the White House and both chambers of Congress seem like a long-shot.

And Democrats are in trouble after this radical Leftist was smacked with sobering election news.

It’s currently primary season for many political candidates running for both the U.S. House and the U.S. Senate.

Some candidates, both Republican and Democrat, are able to breeze through their primaries with little to no adversity.

But other candidates aren’t so lucky.

Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), who’s also a member of the radical Leftist “Squad,” is on pace to lose his Democrat primary election to Westchester County Executive George Latimer.

According to a recent poll from Emerson College Polling, PIX11, and The Hill, Bowman is down by 17% to Latimer.

More specifically, Bowman is polling at 31%, while Latimer has 48% of support from voters. 21% have listed themselves as undecided.

65% of voters view Latimer in a favorable light, while Bowman is viewed as favorable by just 51%.

43% find Bowman to be unfavorable and just 23% think the same of Latimer.

The primary election between the two candidates will be held on June 25.

That means Bowman needs to do something fast in order to improve his standing among voters in his district in New York.

A major reason why he’s so unpopular right now is because of his calls for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas which is something that’s angered pro-Israel organizations.

Not only that, but he’s been very critical of Israel, especially in the wake of the October 7, 2023 attacks on the Jewish nation by Hamas terrorists.

In Rep. Bowman’s district, there’s a large number of Jewish residents who live there. They likely aren’t thrilled with Bowman’s recent anti-Israel sentiments.

And as a result of his criticisms of Israel, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee ended up endorsing Latimer over the New York Democrat.

Jamaal Bowman has faced other controversial incidents in recent months, specifically regarding pulling a fire alarm last year in an alleged attempt to stop a congressional vote to avoid a government shutdown.

Bowman pled guilty for falsely pulling the alarm.

But if the polls are to be believed, Rep. Bowman probably won’t get a chance to be pulling any more fire alarms in congressional buildings, as his term could very well come to a close this November should he lose the primary to George Latimer.
