Most major media outlets are in Kamala Harris’s corner. Especially MSNBC.

But that’s what makes this MSNBC confession about Kamala Harris so shocking.

Maybe no one in the media is more delusional than MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough. That man is the one who said that Joe Biden was as sharp as he’s ever been. He made those comments just months before Joe Biden was forced to drop out by his own Party because they couldn’t keep hiding Biden’s declining mental faculties from the American people. Scarborough can be hard to take seriously, to put it simply.

That being said, he’s opted to be truthful for once and address the elephant in the room concerning Kamala Harris and her campaign. That elephant is the fact that Kamala Harris has made a complete 180 on major issues from just a few short years ago, lest we forget she ran a presidential campaign in 2020 in which she proudly proclaimed to be extremely far-Left.

Kamala Harris’ Past Statements Resurface as Challenge for 2024 Bid, Says Joe Scarborough

In a recent discussion on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, host Joe Scarborough highlighted a key issue confronting Vice President Kamala Harris as she prepares for her 2024 presidential campaign. According to Scarborough, certain policy positions Harris took during her 2020 run for the Democratic nomination are proving to be a stumbling block in her current bid for the White House.

Harris, once known for her progressive stances on issues such as health care, gun control, illegal immigration, and fracking, has since distanced herself from several of these positions. Scarborough acknowledged that her current campaign has done a decent job of addressing these shifts but warned that the past may still come back to haunt her through political ads.

Scarborough pointed to one specific attack ad focusing on Harris’ past support for taxpayer-funded s*x-change operations for illegal immigrants, a stance she expressed in 2019.

“By the way, just for people that are watching going, ‘Wait, how could they not, how could they not vote for Kamala Harris?’ What they’re seeing, and I saw it this weekend while I was watching football games, commercial after commercial after commercial after commercial of Kamala Harris in 2019 saying that she supported federal funding for transition operations,” Scarborough said, referencing a common critique of Harris’ more progressive policies during her earlier campaign.

He elaborated on how Harris was seen as positioning herself to be more progressive than her peers at the time. “Well, and they get quotes from her in 2019 where she was trying to be more woke than anybody else in 2019. And I think the campaign has done a good job cleaning a lot of that stuff up. They need to look at the commercials that are being run over and over and over again,” Scarborough added.

Harris’ 2019 comments were made in response to an inquiry from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) regarding gender transition procedures for detained individuals. At the time, she committed to ensuring federal prisoners and detainees would have access to s*x-change operations at the taxpayer’s expense, stating, “I support policies ensuring that federal prisoners and detainees are able to obtain medically necessary care for gender transition, including surgical care, while incarcerated or detained. Transition treatment is a medical necessity, and I will direct all federal agencies responsible for providing essential medical care to deliver transition treatment.”

As Harris gears up for 2024, she faces a tight race. Recent polls from RealClearPolitics indicate that Harris leads former President Donald Trump by just 2.2% in surveys conducted from September 19 to October 2. However, when factoring in third-party candidates such as Dr. Jill Stein (Green Party), Cornel West (independent), Chase Oliver (Libertarian), and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., her lead narrows to 2%.

Scarborough stressed the significance of swing states in shaping the outcome of the election. “Because again, it’s not you or me in Florida or New York that they need to worry about. It’s the guys in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, that are looking—” he said, before fellow Morning Joe panelist John Heilemann added, “— who are watching sports on streaming channels.”

As the campaign progresses, Harris’ team will need to address these lingering concerns about her past positions and manage the impact of persistent political advertising if they hope to remain competitive in this race. So far, though, they’ve been completely ignoring the issue entirely.
