This is the last thing Harris wanted to happen before the election. Things are spiraling out of control for her.
And a terrifying arrest involving Kamala Harris has her campaign on red alert.
A wrong-way driver, allegedly intoxicated, narrowly avoided colliding with Vice President Kamala Harris’ motorcade in Milwaukee on Monday night, as captured in shocking video footage.
The incident involved a 55-year-old local man who mistakenly drove up an exit ramp and onto the wrong side of I-794 near St. Paul Avenue.
He drove past the motorcade of the Democratic vice president within mere seconds, according to a report from WISN 12.
The driver veered into the left lane just as the first vehicle in the motorcade passed, followed by over a dozen other cars — including one transporting Harris to the airport, as shown in footage obtained by the local ABC affiliate.

Fortunately, the last vehicle in the convoy, driven by a Milwaukee County sheriff’s deputy, managed to stop the wrong-way driver.
After failing multiple field sobriety tests, the man was taken into custody, the station reported.
The driver seemed just as baffled as onlookers who saw his headlights in the wrong direction on the one-way section of the highway.
According to the arrest report, when informed by the deputy that he “almost struck a vehicle in the VPOTUS’ motorcade,” the man appeared shocked and claimed to have no memory of entering the freeway or coming close to another vehicle.
“He also stated he did not have any intention of harming Vice President Kamala Harris or anybody related to her campaign,” the arrest report reads.
Additionally, an open beer can was discovered in the suspect’s car, according to the report.
The man now faces charges of drunk driving and second-degree recklessly endangering safety. He is currently being held in jail without bail, according to the news outlet.
The Secret Service acknowledged the incident and expressed gratitude to the sheriff’s office for apprehending the driver.
Thankfully no one was hurt as a result of the drunk driver’s reckless actions.
In a very tense election season, threats against presidential candidates, specifically former President Donald Trump, have become heightened.
So Secret Service had to have been on edge when they saw the car driving towards Kamala Harris’s motorcade.
Hopefully as the election is drawing to a close, these incidents will vanish.
