The Democrats just can’t help it. They’re finding new ways to embarrass themselves daily.

And this Leftist Governor has egg on her face after sharing these humiliating photos on social media.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul faced intense backlash Sunday after posting a controversial tweet touting subway safety improvements just hours after a tragic k*lling aboard a Brooklyn train. The Democratic leader’s social media post drew criticism from both sides of the political aisle for its timing and tone.

The uproar followed two violent incidents in the city’s subway system. In one, a man was fatally stabbed on a 7 train in Queens during the early hours of Sunday morning. Hours later, a sleeping passenger on an F train in Brooklyn was doused with liquid and set on fire, resulting in a horrific death.

Despite these incidents, Hochul posted on X, formerly Twitter, celebrating a decline in subway crime. “In March, I took action to make our subways safer for the millions of people who take the trains each day,” she wrote, alongside photos of herself with law enforcement and subway riders.

“Since deploying the @NationalGuardNY to support @NYPDnews and @MTA safety efforts and adding cameras to all subway cars, crime is going down, and ridership is going up.”

The response was swift and scathing. Rep. Ritchie Torres, a fellow Democrat who has criticized Hochul and is reportedly considering a gubernatorial run in 2026, lambasted her post.

“Two hours ago, Kathy Hochul took a victory lap for making subways ‘safer.’ She congratulates herself on the same day two subway riders were stabbed in Queens (one in the face and one in the chest) and another was barbarically burned alive,” Torres wrote on X. “Has there ever been a more tone-deaf Governor in the history of New York?”

Councilman Robert Holden echoed the sentiment, calling the timing “incredible.” He added, “Kathy Hochul’s incompetence is costing lives—she needs to leave public office immediately before more New Yorkers suffer.”

Republicans joined in the criticism. Rep. Nicole Malliotakis expressed outrage over Hochul’s post.

“Are you kidding me??? You are really posting this after a woman was set on fire & died on a Brooklyn train this morning and two people were stabbed (one k*lled) on a Queens train yesterday,” she wrote.

The two deadly incidents unfolded just hours apart. In the first, a dispute on a southbound 7 train near the 61st Street-Woodside station led to the stabbing of two men.

One, a 37-year-old, died from his injuries, while the other, 26, was hospitalized. Police took a person of interest into custody but have yet to file charges.

Later that morning, a Guatemalan migrant allegedly set fire to a sleeping passenger aboard a stationary F train at the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue station. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene, and police arrested a suspect hours later.

Hochul’s office did not immediately respond to requests for comment but addressed the criticism indirectly in follow-up tweets Sunday evening. “A suspect is now in custody for the horrific incident on the F train. Our brand-new security cameras helped law enforcement find the suspect and arrest him. Grateful to @NYPDnews and @mtapd for their aggressive response,” she wrote.

In another post, she acknowledged the ongoing safety concerns. “Make no mistake: any crime is one too many, even with subway crime going down. We are continuing to surge personnel and resources to make our subways safer,” Hochul stated.

Despite the governor’s reassurances, her initial tweet remains controversial as it shows just how tone-deaf she really is.
