Conservatives have a target on their backs. That’s just a sad and scary reality right now.
And a top conservative was targeted with gunfire in a terrifying attack.
In a shocking turn of events, conservative podcaster Tim Pool found himself under attack when a gunman rolled up to his property in “a vehicle” and unleashed a barrage of gunfire Friday night. Thankfully, no one was injured in the brazen assault, but it’s a stark reminder of the dangers facing those who dare to challenge the status quo.
Pool broke the news Saturday morning via a post on X, detailing the terrifying ordeal and assuring followers that his team was on top of it. He emphasized that his security detail was already digging into the details and preparing to hand over their findings to the authorities.
“Last night a vehicle approached our property and opened fire,” Pool stated. “No one was hurt. Our security team is reviewing the incident and will be relaying the report to appropriate law enforcement.”
Not one to back down, Pool explained what this means for voices like his in today’s America. “This is the price we pay for speaking out against evil,” he said.

In a separate post, Pool shared his gut reaction to the shooting, admitting that his first instinct was that this was an intimidation tactic meant to silence him. He pointed out that his setup includes “a security gate and armed guards,” which likely played a role in keeping everyone safe.
My immediate thoughts is someone was trying to scare us
But we have a security gate and armed guards and its possible this deterred something more serious

This attack on Pool comes hot on the heels of the tragic assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, who was gunned down on September 10 during a Q&A session with students at Utah Valley University.
Kirk’s m*rder sent shockwaves through conservative circles, and now Pool’s incident feels like part of a disturbing pattern.
Fellow conservatives were quick to rally around Pool, offering support and prayers in the wake of the news. Seth Dillon, the sharp-witted CEO of the Babylon Bee, captured the outrage perfectly in his response.
“This is insane,” Dillon stated in an X post. “Glad everyone is safe.”
Jack Posobiec, a prominent conservative commentator, echoed that sentiment, focusing on the human side of the threat. “Praying for the whole Timcast family,” he posted, showing solidarity with Pool and his crew.
Even Brandon Showalter from the Christian Post weighed in, stressing the injustice of it all. “NO ONE deserves this,” he declared, a sentiment that resonates deeply with anyone who values free speech and safety.
These kinds of attacks aren’t happening in a vacuum—they’re symptoms of a society where political tensions are boiling over, and conservatives are often the ones taking the heat for calling out the radical left’s agenda.
A fresh survey from the Young America’s Foundation sheds light on how Americans are viewing this surge in violence. When polled about Kirk’s assassination, a solid 70 percent of respondents made it clear: “There is absolutely no justification for m*rdering someone over their viewpoints.”
Yet, in a troubling twist, 22 percent of those surveyed suggested that “Kirk’s viewpoints mean he brought this violence upon himself to an extent.” That kind of blame-the-victim mentality is exactly what’s fueling this chaos and needs to be called out.
Adding fuel to the fire, The Post Millennial highlighted a Pew Research Center poll from late September 2025, revealing that a whopping 85 percent of Americans think political violence is ramping up across the nation.
