In a typical display of liberal media bias, MS NOW’s The Briefing turned into another echo chamber for Democrat grievances against President Donald Trump. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) appeared on the show Thursday, spewing insults while host Jen Psaki lobbed softball questions.
This kind of setup is exactly what we’ve come to expect from outlets that prioritize attacking conservatives over real journalism.
Psaki kicked things off by highlighting Trump’s recent speech where he took a jab at Jeffries. She seemed almost giddy about giving the Democrat a platform to fire back. It’s no secret that the mainstream media loves to amplify anti-Trump rhetoric, especially when it comes from their favored politicians.
Psaki stated, “I have so many questions about elections and what they are trying to do but I just want to start, with what Trump had to say about you tonight, because in a speech tonight, he mentioned you. I don’t know if you saw this. He called you — he loves to name call, doesn’t he? He he called you a low IQ individual. And I just wanted to give you an opportunity to respond to that.”
Jeffries didn’t hold back, unleashing a tirade that revealed more about his own frustrations than anything substantive. He painted Trump as out of touch, but coming from a party that’s been in power and delivered chaos, it rings hollow. This is the same crowd that cheers on endless investigations while everyday Americans struggle.
The congressman stated, “I mean, he’s such an unhinged, unpresidential, unAmerican individual, but I was actually quite surprised that he wasn’t able to come up with something more original. Like, this is his go to insult. I finally earned the presidential nickname and this is what he goes with. So he clearly is tired. He’s lame. And he doesn’t know what he’s doing anymore.”
“And the American people, most importantly, are the ones who are paying the price from this failed presidency. Failure on the economy. Failure on health care. Failure on immigration enforcement. Failure to make life better for the American people.”
This interview exposes the hypocrisy of Democrats like Jeffries. They sling mud at Trump while ignoring their own record of weakness abroad and division at home.
It’s all about deflection—keep the focus on personal attacks so voters forget about rising crime and crumbling infrastructure under Biden’s watch.
Psaki, a former White House press secretary, knows a thing or two about spinning narratives. Her show is just another arm of the Democrat machine, where tough questions for liberals are nonexistent. No wonder trust in media is at rock bottom among real Americans.
Jeffries’ claim that Trump is “tired” and “lame” is laughable when you see the energy Trump brings to rallies packed with patriotic supporters. Meanwhile, Democrat leaders hide behind teleprompters and scripted events. The contrast couldn’t be clearer.
The real price Americans are paying comes from policies that prioritize global elites over hardworking citizens. Trump’s agenda is about bringing jobs back, securing borders, and standing strong against adversaries. Jeffries’ insults can’t erase those achievements.
