Trump wants to desperately provide good news. But that’s not always possible.

And President Trump dropped a sobering update on the war with Iran.

On Wednesday evening, the two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran will expire, and American bombs will once again light up the sky if the mullahs refuse to cut a real deal. President Donald J. Trump made that crystal clear in fresh interviews, drawing a hard line that puts America’s strength front and center.

In a conversation with Bloomberg, Trump stated the ceasefire ends “Wednesday evening Washington time.” He also mentioned that an extension is “highly unlikely” if Iran and the U.S. don’t agree on a deal.

Trump doubled down during a Monday sit-down with PBS News, warning that “lots of bombs start going off” if a deal doesn’t happen before the expiration of the deadline.

That’s the no-nonsense Trump millions of patriots voted for – decisive action over diplomatic dance routines.

This all traces back to April 7, when Trump announced the two-week pause after swift military strikes that left Iran reeling. Roughly fifteen days later, the clock is ticking, and the ball sits squarely in Tehran’s court.

Meanwhile, high-level talks are gearing up for a second round in Islamabad, Pakistan.

A U.S. delegation led by Vice President JD Vance appears ready to roll, joined by Jared Kushner and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, according to what sources close to the situation said to Breitbart News.

According to The New York Times, Iranian officials have signaled that Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf – the heavyweight political and military player who showed up for the first round – would join only if Vance does the same. It’s a classic power play, but Trump’s team isn’t blinking.

This push for round two comes even after earlier chatter suggested Tehran had zero interest in returning to the table.

Suddenly the Iranians are showing up, because they know the alternative is far worse than dealing with a President who means business.

On Monday, President Trump took to Truth Social to shut down any nonsense about caving to pressure from Democrats. He laid it out plain and simple:

“The Democrats are doing everything possible to hurt the very strong position we are in with respect to Iran. Despite World War I lasting 4 years, 3 months, and 14 days, World War II lasting 6 years and 1 day, the Korean War lasting 3 years, 1 month, and 2 days, the Vietnam War lasting 19 years, 5 months, and 29 days, and Iraq lasting 8 years, 8 months, and 28 days, they like to say that I promised 6 weeks to defeat Iran, and actually, from the Military standpoint, it was far faster than that, but I’m not going to let them rush the United States into making a Deal that is not as good as it could have been. I read the Fake News saying that I am under “pressure” to make a Deal.”

“THIS IS NOT TRUE! I am under no pressure whatsoever, although, it will all happen, relatively quickly!”

While the swamp and the left-wing media machine scream for a quick, watered-down agreement, the president is laser-focused on securing terms that actually protect American interests and deliver real victory.

This isn’t about dragging out conflict – it’s about refusing to accept anything less than total dominance at the negotiating table.
