There’s no one the media hates more than former President Donald Trump. The mainstream media is obsessed with smearing him.

And now Donald Trump has caused a total media meltdown with this one announcement.

It’s no secret that the Democrats and the talking heads in the mainstream media would like nothing more than for Donald Trump to be kept out of the 2024 general election season.

Many Americans believe this is why they’ve launched countless legal attacks on Trump as the 2024 election is heating up. They know that Trump may be unstoppable come summer time if he is still in the picture.

Now, with the announcement that Donald Trump has stormed his way into the real start of the election season with a resounding win in the Iowa Republican primary caucus, the Fake News Media is panicking.

On Monday, MSNBC personality Rachel Maddow said that a “radicalized” Republican electorate was to thank for former president Donald Trump’s overwhelming win in the Iowa caucuses.

According to Fox News, Trump received 51.03% of the vote in the caucuses and was proclaimed the winner at 8:45 p.m. on Monday evening. With a margin of fewer than 2,300 votes, former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley and Republican governor Ron DeSantis of Florida are still in a close race for second place.

On a panel with MSNBC’s Jen Psaki, Joy Reid, Chris Hayes, and Lawrence O’Donnell, Maddow shared her concerns about the potential rise of fascism and authoritarianism in the United States. She said that while a President’s actions are a factor, the desire for such a government among the general population is a much larger factor.

“One of those parties has been flirting with extremism on the ultra-right for a very long time,” Maddow added. “They’ve brought them in in a way that they haven’t been central to Republican electoral politics ever before. Once you have radicalized one major party so that those are the preferences of the people who adhere to your party, the leader’s interchangeable. Trump is a miss sometimes, what we call it, MAGA movement is probably a better way to do it.”

On December 28, Democratic Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows barred Trump from running for president, using the “insurrection” provision of the 14th Amendment and the riot that occurred at the Capitol building on January 6, 2021. In a 4-3 judgment on December 19, the Colorado Supreme Court declared that Trump could not be on the ballot for the 2024 election. This case will be heard by the Supreme Court on February 8th.

“There is an authoritarian movement inside Republican politics that isn’t being bamboozled by Trump, they are pushing Trump to get more and more extreme because the more extreme things he says, the more they adhere, and that is coming from a very large proportion of the American right that appears to the Republican Party,” Maddow asserted. “That’s why this is a Republican Party problem more than it is the problem of one man.”

It’s ironic that the Leftist talking heads like Rachel Maddow are screaming about Donald Trump being an anti-constitutional fascist who just wants to become a dictator over the entire U.S. federal government.

They continue to whine about the events of January 6, 2021 and point to that as proof that Trump is an insurrectionist who Americans can’t trust, even though the truth of what took place that day is a lot more complicated than they make it out to be. Who can forget the videos that Tucker Carlson released when he was on Fox News that showed Washington, D.C. police letting protestors into the Capitol.

If there’s anyone actually trying to prevent democracy from playing out, it’s the radical Leftists who are deadset on trying to keep Donald Trump from being able to win a second term in the White House fair and square.

That’s what Colorado tried to do with their state Supreme Court’s bogus ruling about Trump not being allowed to appear on any ballots in the state this year.

That’s what Maine tried to do when their state secretary got drunk with power and unilaterally decided that Trump would be ineligible for the 2024 Presidential election as well.

How could the man who is taking on a barrage of attacks to prevent him from getting back into the Oval Office be the authoritarian one? Tell us Rachel Maddow, who are the real authoritarians here?

The Conservative Column will be updating our readers on any updates to the 2024 Presidential election, so stay tuned.
