Trump and CNN have been at odds for years. The liberal media outlet has tried to attack him every chance they get.

And Donald Trump’s latest scheme just destroyed CNN.

Last Wednesday evening, CNN hosted a Republican primary debate.

The participants included former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

That same night, Fox News Channel (FNC) hosted a town hall with former President Donald Trump.

And according to AdImpact, Trump’s town hall almost doubled the viewership of the CNN Republican primary debate.

“Last night, Donald Trump’s town hall on FNC had nearly double the viewership of the 5th Republican Presidential Primary debate on CNN: an estimated 5.7M to 2.9M,” AdImpact reports.

“The town hall was the most watched Presidential primary TV event we’ve tracked since November 8th.”

The chart that AdImpact shared shows that as the Republican debates went on, viewership declined.

And since a debate in November which brought in 9.1 million viewers, no other Republican event on TV was viewed as much as the Trump town hall on FNC last Wednesday.

The fourth GOP debate in December only brought in 3.2 million viewers, while DeSantis’ town hall on FNC brought in 3.7 million and Haley’s town hall brought in just 3 million.

Trump wasn’t shy in sharing clips on social media from what he believed was a very successful outing at the town hall.

“DeSanctus wants to CUT Social Security and Medicare. Nikki Haley wants to CUT Social Security and Medicare…Nikki Haley wanted to raise the age from 65 to 74,” Trump exclaimed in a post on Truth Social.

“I had NO WARS. I’m the only president in 72 years that didn’t have any wars,” he said in another post.

Donald Trump is expected to win the Republican nomination for president if the polls are any indicator.

And honestly, if TV viewership is an indicator, he’ll likely win the nomination in a landslide.
