The Trump legal cases are dominating the news. But what happened on Fox can’t be missed.
Because a Fox News guest stunned the entire network with this one word for Trump prosecutors.
Former President Trump’s case for supposed election tampering, according to law professor Jonathan Turley of George Washington University, is crumbling under the scrutiny of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and special prosecutor Nathan Wade. Turley made these claims on Tuesday during a Fox News guest interview.
Willis is suing Trump, but a court is debating whether to exclude her from the lawsuit because of claims that she profited financially from nominating Wade, her romantic partner, to be an associate prosecutor. During the hearing, Willis and Wade both seemed to contradict one other, which, according to Turley’s comments on Fox and Friends, hurts their case against Trump.
“Now, the Willis team kept on preventing questions from the opposing counsel, who is trying to show that it was in fact this attorney that supported their original motion that this relationship began long before Nathan Wade was hired. Now, whether we’re going to finally see those questions answered is something we will be watching closely today, but the case seems to be unraveling for Willis and Wade,” Turley claimed on Fox News.
“In their testimony, there was a great deal of contradiction, particularly for Mr. Wade. Some of his earlier sworn statements appear to be irreconcilable with the facts that he later testified to,” he added. “That’s a nice way of saying that people believe he may have lied under the earlier sworn statement. That’s pretty serious because these two are prosecuting people for making false statements and filing false papers with courts.”
Watch the segment below:
Both Willis and Wade disputed the allegation in court files and evidence, but Trump co-defendant Michael Roman made the claim in a January 8 petition that the connection between the two began before the district attorney nominated Wade to the Trump case.
If the claims are shown to be accurate, Turley claimed, Willis and Wade “could be referred to the bar” for perjury charges.
Despite testimony from Willis and Wade stating that the special prosecutor hadn’t spent the night at her apartment, 35 separate visits to her area in 2021 were allegedly revealed by phone data mentioned in a court filing that was filed on Friday.
Donald Trump shared on X (formerly Twitter) a post that he originally posted on his Truth Social account arguing that the case is obviously “fake” because of the clear conflict of interest issues behind Fani Willis and Nathan Wade’s relationship.
“The fact that Fani Willis and ‘Lover’ Wade unquestionably started their relationship BEFORE the beginning of their FAKE case that was brought against me and many others, would unequivocally mean, according to virtually all legal experts and scholars, THAT THIS CASE IS OVER!” Trump shared.

Tucker Carlson, who used to be the number one host over at Fox News before he was let go by the network, has gone so far as to say that the Fani Willis case is being exposed as a blatant attempt to “rig a presidential election.”
He argued on his Tucker on X show that this is all about trying to prevent people from being able to vote for Trump in 2024 by relentlessly going after him in the courts.
If goons like Fani Willis and Letitia James can rig a presidential election, then obviously we're done. But what can we do about it? pic.twitter.com/A22mrWDmeR

Surveys suggest that most Americans, regardless of their political affiliation, agree that this case against Donald Trump is politically motivated.
With these facts coming out about how corrupt the Trump prosecutors may be, it’s hard to paint a picture of anything other than Democrats trying to carry on a kangaroo court case.
