Joe Biden has made a complete mess of the border. But now it’s hit a fever pitch.
Because Border Patrol just unmasked a disturbing reality at the southern border.
By the end of 2024, federal officials expect more than eight million illegal aliens to be living freely in the United States, and they will not be imprisoned by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
President Joe Biden is expected to nearly triple ICE’s non-detained docket.
ICE’s non-detained docket contains illegal aliens living in American towns and cities who have not been detained but are awaiting deportation from the United States.
By the end of Fiscal Year 2023, there were 6.2 million illegal immigrants living in the U.S. who were not being held by ICE but were ready to be deported.
Of these, 1.3 million had final deportation orders from a federal immigration judge.
According to confidential federal documents, Axios estimates that the number of illegal aliens on ICE’s non-detained docket will have increased to more than eight million by the end of 2024, nearly tripling the 3.2 million illegal aliens on the docket in 2020.
Sens. Roger Marshall (R-KS), Eric Schmitt (R-MO), Rick Scott (R-FL), Mike Lee (R-UT), Mike Braun (R-IN), and Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) filed a no-confidence vote against Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas in early 2024 for massively increasing ICE’s non-detained docket.
Marshall blasted Mayorkas’ plans to implement the “Release and Reporting Management” (RRM) program to “increase illegal immigration by rewarding lawbreakers and greatly reducing the number of aliens who would be subject to removal.”
The RRM program would require illegal aliens on ICE’s non-detained docket to simply make annual “check-ins” with the agency after being released into the United States interior.
In addition to the RRM program, Mayorkas intends to implement the ICE Secure Docket Card Program, which will provide newly arrived illegal aliens with photo ID cards upon release into the United States.
These photo IDs will complement the agency’s Case Management Pilot Program, which provides taxpayer-funded assistance to illegal aliens in deportation proceedings.
What nobody is asking is why we are giving financial assistance to them to begin with and why we’re allowing them to stay.
If someone broke into your home, would the police let them stay and eat your food while they waited on a court date years later?
Of course not!
But for some reason, when it comes to the southern border, any semblance of common sense flies right out the window.
Could it be that the “crisis” at the border is self-inflicted?
Is it possible that Biden wants to keep them all here?
We’ll let you decide that.
