The Catholic Church handed Biden a devastating loss he may never recover from

President Biden likes to pretend he’s a devout and faithful Catholic. Nothing could be further from the truth.

And the Catholic Church handed Biden a devastating loss he may never recover from.

Joe Biden and some of his friends like Nancy Pelosi both claim the title of “Catholic.”

Meanwhile, they push countless social agendas that the Church has explicitly rejected.

But not everybody is buying what they’re selling.

Catholics in the United States have turned dramatically against President Biden in recent years, with a large statistical advantage favoring his Republican competitor.

Pew Research released a survey on April 30 that examined support for presidential candidates grouped by religious affiliation.

According to the poll, 55% of Catholics prefer or lean toward backing former President Donald Trump over Biden.

In contrast, only 43% of Catholics back Biden in the same one-on-one comparison.

The 12% margin of support for Trump represents a major turnaround from 2020, when he held a relatively small lead – 50% to 49%.

Biden presently leads among Hispanic Catholics by a tiny 49%-47% margin, but the close race represents a significant move to the Right for the demographic.

In 2020, a similar Pew Research poll indicated that Hispanic Catholics supported Biden over Trump by an astounding 67%-26% margin.

According to the April survey, approximately 60% of protestants supported Trump. In contrast, approximately 38% indicated a preference for Biden.

Atheists, agnostics, and the religiously unaffiliated overwhelmingly supported Biden – nearly 69% stated they would vote for the Democratic incumbent, compared to only 28% for Trump.

Biden has leaned heavily on his Catholic identity during his presidential campaigns, portraying himself as a passionate believer despite clear contempt for non-negotiable Church doctrines.

However, Catholic leaders have pushed back on this self-characterization, pointing out his support for policies that are diametrically opposed to the faith, such as abortion deregulation and gender ideology affirmation.

Cardinal Wilton Gregory of Washington, D.C., previously called Biden a “cafeteria Catholic” — saying he “picks and chooses dimensions of the faith to highlight while ignoring or even contradicting other parts.”

“It is incredibly devastating to know President Biden would place ‘choice’ over his sacred duty to protect life,” said Michael Burbidge, the Bishop of Arlington, in a statement regarding Biden attending a pro-abortion rally.

The Bishop emphasized that Biden’s rally took place just four miles away from the pro-life pregnancy center Manassas Mother of Mercy Free Medical Clinic, through which Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington offers free resources, support, and care to pregnant mothers and their babies.

The Bishop of Arlington admonished Biden that “taking the life of an innocent child is never a ‘choice.’”
