The calls for Biden to step down are back. The president is trying to stand defiant.

But Joe Biden’s resistance just got poisoned by four words from a very close ally.

President Biden loves a “Republican” who will bend the knee to the political establishment and especially the Democrats at the drop of a pin. MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough is one such individual, and this has made him a favorite of the Democrat president.

That may not last long, though. Reports lately have demonstrated that Joe Biden is growing more and more frustrated by the calls for him to step aside. In one report, Joe Biden yelled at a Democrat for insisting that he’s behind Donald Trump in the polls, which is objectively true.

Now with Democrats Chuck Schumer, Adam Schiff, and Nancy Pelosi calling for Joe Biden to step aside, the calls are growing louder once again. And even MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough is adding to the noise, implying that he believes Joe Biden needs to drop out because it’s the “right” thing to do.

Joe Scarborough Changes His Tune, Implies Joe Biden Needs To Step Down

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough delivered an impassioned speech on Thursday, urging President Joe Biden’s closest allies to assist him in making a difficult decision, subtly suggesting that he should withdraw from the presidential race without directly stating it.

“This is not going to end well if it continues to drag out,” Scarborough warned on Morning Joe. He referred to the president’s recent debate mishap and the growing number of Democrats who have publicly called for Biden to step down from the ticket.

Biden is known to be a regular viewer of Morning Joe and frequently discusses political issues and media coverage with Scarborough. Although Scarborough has been a strong supporter of Biden throughout his presidency, his stance shifted following Biden’s poor performance in a debate against former President Donald Trump late last month.

“It’s really incumbent on people that are around Joe Biden to step up at this point and help the president and help the man they love and do the right thing,” Scarborough stated. He suggested that some in Biden’s circle are motivated by “financial” reasons to keep him in the race.

“The anger I hear are at the people that are keeping him in a bubble or who may have their own interests, some financial, in keeping him in the race. That is the real anger,” Scarborough continued. “It is widespread. Joe Biden deserves better. He deserves better than he is getting from those closest to him.”

The pressure within the Democratic Party for Biden’s withdrawal is increasing, with at least 20 congressional Democrats publicly urging him to step aside and allow another candidate to lead the party’s ticket. Representative Adam Schiff (D., Calif.) was the latest lawmaker to join this call.

Furthermore, some prominent Democrats have privately conveyed to Biden that he is likely to lose to Trump in November if he pursues a second term.

Representative Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.), the former House speaker, pointed out that current polling suggests Democrats will lose both the White House and their chance to retake the House if Biden remains the nominee, according to four sources briefed on the phone call. Biden responded defensively, citing polls that he claimed showed a different outcome. Pelosi did not explicitly call for his withdrawal during the private conversation.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D., N.Y.) also discussed Biden’s realistic chances of beating Donald Trump this November with the president according to reports.

Joe Scarborough’s new position on the matter of Joe Biden’s viability as a Democrat candidate is a sharp difference compared to what he had to say about Biden just in the past few months. He used to say that Joe Biden was as sharp as ever right now.

There’s no way he believed that when he said it, and there’s absolutely no way he believes that now. Clearly not, now that he’s calling for his buddy to step aside.

Interesting how that works, yeah?
