The mainstream media usually runs cover for Democrats. But even they couldn’t pass up on this.
And now CNN torched Kamala Harris for making one boneheaded mistake.
Vice President Kamala Harris, who has long railed against former President Donald Trump’s border wall, calling it racist and un-American, is now using footage of that very wall in her 2024 presidential campaign ads.
The irony is hard to miss, and even CNN couldn’t ignore it.
Erin Burnett, anchor of Out Front, covered the hypocrisy, reminding viewers of Harris’ outspoken opposition to Trump’s border policies, especially the wall, which she once vehemently condemned.
But now, with her tenure as Biden’s border czar marked by unmitigated failure, Harris seems to be scrambling to revise her image.
As the American public grows increasingly fed up with her open-borders stance, Harris has resorted to using footage of the border wall in her ads—an attempt to convince voters she’s suddenly tough on illegal immigration.
Burnett revealed that Harris has posted over 50 times on social media since 2017 attacking Trump’s border wall.

And yet, here she is, showcasing that very wall in her new campaign videos, referencing her time as a “border state prosecutor,” attempting to paint herself as a hardliner.
It’s not just hypocritical, but downright disingenuous when you consider Harris’ own words from her 2019 book, where she slammed the wall:
“A useless wall on the southern border would be nothing more than a symbol, a monument standing in opposition to not just everything I value, but to the fundamental values upon which this country was built.” Fast forward to 2024, and that “useless” wall is now front and center in her campaign.
Since taking over the Democratic campaign after Joe Biden’s quiet removal from the ticket, Harris has been in damage control mode.
Her team has been working overtime to distance her from the open-border policies she’s been linked to for years.
But it’s not hard to see why—violent crimes committed by illegal aliens who entered the country during her watch have made headlines, and polls are showing that the majority of Americans want stricter enforcement of immigration laws.
Harris’ sudden shift reeks of political convenience rather than genuine concern for the country’s safety.
The border crisis is one of her biggest failures, and now she’s trying to rewrite the narrative in a desperate bid for the presidency. But voters won’t be fooled so easily.
