And Ted Cruz dropped a devastating truth bomb on Kamala Harris she can’t run from.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) didn’t hold back in his post-debate analysis, making it crystal clear that Vice President Kamala Harris is unable to defend the failures of the Biden-Harris administration.
During his Verdict podcast with co-host Ben Ferguson, Cruz zeroed in on Harris’s poor performance in the debate, exposing her inability to address the damage done under her leadership.
Cruz highlighted how Harris, facing off with President Donald Trump in the debate moderated by Democrat-friendly hosts, couldn’t muster a defense of her record.
“What tonight illustrated is that Kamala Harris is utterly incapable of defending her own record,” Cruz said bluntly.
He pointed out that instead of answering tough questions, Harris relied on the same tired, recycled lines from her DNC convention speech.
Perhaps most damning was how Harris danced around one of the most crucial questions of the night: are Americans better off now under Biden-Harris, or were they better off under Trump? Cruz observed:
“Kamala refused to answer it at all. She didn’t say yes. She didn’t say people’s lives are better. She said nothing at all.”
That kind of silence speaks volumes about the dismal state of the nation under Democratic leadership.
Cruz took it a step further, predicting that Harris will likely retreat from public view until Election Day, knowing that she has nothing to offer when it comes to defending her track record.
“It’s like the groundhog,” Cruz quipped.
“Until she sees her shadow on election day, she doesn’t get to come out of the basement.”
What makes this even worse is that Harris might not have to face any real consequences for her evasiveness, thanks to a complicit media desperate to protect her.
Cruz criticized how the media would spin the debate no matter how poorly Harris performed, sarcastically saying that even if she threw a tantrum, the press would still declare her the winner.
In the end, Cruz’s takeaway is damning for Harris: “She doesn’t have a good answer to her own record.”
It’s a scathing assessment, but one that many Americans are likely realizing as they see the failures of the Biden-Harris administration firsthand.
