The Democrats are crumbling. The November elections could be ugly for them.

As Kamala Harris and Chuck Schumer are terrified by this huge election news.

Democrats are banking on Wisconsin going blue for both Kamala Harris and the Democrats in the U.S. Senate. Without Wisconsin in Kamala Harris’s pocket, it will be very difficult for her to win an election against Donald Trump. And without the Wisconsin Senate seat staying blue after November settles, Chuck Schumer and the Democrats are very unlikely to be in power in the Congressional Upper Chamber.

A new report out of Wisconsin should be worrying for Kamala Harris and Chuck Schumer, as the state is super close to flipping red in both of the high-profile races. This would be a gargantuan development that would send shockwaves throughout the Washington, D.C. political world.

Wisconsin Senate Race Moves to “Toss Up” Status

As the election draws closer, the Cook Political Report has shifted its rating for the Wisconsin Senate race to “Toss Up.” This change comes just weeks before Election Day and reflects a competitive landscape in this key battleground state.

Previously rated as “Lean Democrat,” the race has shown signs of tightening, particularly with candidate Eric Hovde reportedly closing the gap with incumbent Senator Tammy Baldwin. The Cook Political Report noted that recent polling indicates both campaigns are operating within the margins of error, a sign of the race’s increasing competitiveness.

A source familiar with Baldwin’s internal polling confirmed that the race is indeed close, reinforcing the assessment of a highly contested election.

In response to the rating change, Hovde’s spokesman, Zach Bannon, stated, “Sen. Baldwin’s radical agenda has sparked record high inflation, created chaos [at] the southern border, and made our communities less safe. Eric Hovde is going to win because the people of Wisconsin are ready for change.”

National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) spokesman Tate Mitchell echoed this sentiment, asserting, “After 25 years in Washington, Tammy Baldwin has become the typical D.C. politician, voting in lockstep with the failed Biden agenda and hiding her Wall Street partner’s stock trades from her constituents. Wisconsinites are ready for change, and Eric Hovde has the momentum.”

According to the latest Marquette Law School poll, Baldwin currently holds a lead over Hovde, with 51% to Hovde’s 45%. The poll, which surveyed 882 registered voters from September 18 to 26, carries a margin of error of +/-4.4 percentage points.

The recent shift in Cook’s ratings aligns Wisconsin with other key Senate races in Ohio and Michigan, now all designated as “Toss Up.” As both parties ramp up their efforts in this critical state, the coming weeks promise to be pivotal in shaping the Senate landscape.

This news follows a report published by Axios last week in which it was reported that Democrats are growing increasingly nervous about the state of Wisconsin going red this November. The report alleged that multiple Democrat strategists are sounding “alarm bells” due to concerns about losing the state.
