Trump is the number one target for the political establishment. They can’t stand that he wants to change things up in the federal government.

And this Pentagon official was busted for forming this plan to take down Donald Trump.

A contractor affiliated with the firm Booz Allen Hamilton has been let go after revealing to an undercover journalist his efforts to undermine Donald Trump’s presidency. Jamie Mannina, who had been working within one of the Pentagon’s most secure offices, described his collaboration with retired generals to prevent Trump, whom he referred to as a “sociopathic narcissist,” from securing the presidency.

The revelations emerged from footage released by O’Keefe Media Group, showing Mannina candidly sharing details about his career trajectory and political motivations. Mannina disclosed that he had previously worked for Hillary Clinton in the Senate and State Department before joining the FBI to target Russian spies—a mission he believed was tied to Russia’s alleged interference in Trump’s 2016 victory. Later, he joined Booz Allen, which facilitated his embedded role in the Pentagon.

In conversations filmed by the undercover journalist, whom Mannina appeared to perceive as a romantic interest, he claimed that his career prospects could have been significantly elevated had Kamala Harris won the presidency

He also added that despite Trump’s victory, his position as a “special advisor to the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon” would stay intact.

Mannina recounted working tirelessly with a nonprofit group, National Security Leaders for America, to sway public opinion against Trump.

“Over most of the year, since this spring, I was working with these retired generals, retired ambassadors, in this organization, this nonprofit called National Security Leaders for America. And what we were doing was we were trying to explain to the American people the national security consequences of another Trump presidency” and “defeat Donald Trump,” he explained.

Mannina also admitted to ghostwriting over 100 anti-Trump op-eds for retired generals. Despite his extensive efforts, Trump’s win left him “really sad, really depressed.”

In one particularly candid moment, Mannina spoke of ongoing collaborations with retired generals to restrict Trump’s presidential actions.

“I’m having a meeting in fact tomorrow about it,” he said. He also claimed to be presenting to senior military leaders on artificial intelligence and global collaboration, emphasizing the need for international partnerships in defense.

The video also captured Mannina predicting Trump might attempt to remain in office unlawfully, a remark that contrasted sharply with his own apparent determination to subvert the democratic process. His comments raised concerns about the role of partisan contractors within government agencies.

Mannina’s professional history, as outlined on his LinkedIn profile, includes serving as a Special Assistant to Hillary Clinton in the U.S. Senate, a Special Assistant in the State Department, a Mission Manager at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, and an FBI agent before joining Booz Allen in 2020.

Shortly after the video’s release, Joint Staff spokesman Joseph R. Holstead clarified Mannina’s role.

“Jamie Mannina is not an advisor to the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Joint Chiefs, nor has he interacted with the Chairman or the Joint Chiefs,” Holstead stated, adding that Mannina’s remarks did not represent the views of the Pentagon leadership. He confirmed that Mannina had been sent back to Booz Allen following the video’s publication.

Mannina’s contractor status—rather than a traditional political appointment—meant he was not subject to the usual administrative transitions, potentially enabling him to remain in his role had the footage not surfaced.

The incident raises questions about the influence and accountability of embedded contractors within government operations, highlighting a potential challenge for Donald Trump as he faces threats from partisan employees who work with the federal government.
