The Democrat Party is still licking their wounds. They may never get over the 2024 elections.
And top Leftists just insulted Trump supporters by calling them these disgusting names.
Democratic Candidates for DNC Chair Blame Kamala Harris’ Loss on Racism and Misogyny
At a forum hosted by MSNBC at Georgetown University, every candidate for Democratic National Committee (DNC) chair agreed that “racism and misogyny played a role” in Vice President Kamala Harris’ 2024 election loss to Donald Trump.
The event featured eight candidates vying for the DNC leadership position, including former presidential candidate Marianne Williamson and former Social Security Administration Commissioner Martin O’Malley.
They fielded questions from MSNBC hosts Jen Psaki, Symone Sanders, and Jonathan Capehart. When Capehart asked for a show of hands on whether they believed racism and misogyny contributed to Harris’ defeat, every candidate — and much of the audience — raised their hands without hesitation.
“That’s good. You all passed,” Capehart remarked.
The moment quickly sparked backlash from conservatives and political analysts who argued that such reasoning ignored the real factors behind Harris’ defeat. Over 77 million Americans cast their votes for Trump, with notable shifts among Hispanic and Black men in his favor. Trump also saw increased support among young women — demographics that Democrats have traditionally relied on.
Republican figures wasted no time in ridiculing the DNC candidates’ take on Harris’ loss. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) posted on X, “I’m already looking forward to expanding our majority in 2026.”
CNN political commentator Scott Jennings sarcastically encouraged Democrats to stick with their analysis, saying, “I endorse this post-mortem analysis and encourage my democratic friends to double or even triple down.” Conservative columnist Marc Thiessen added to the mockery, quipping, “No idea why they lost.”
During the forum, candidates took turns condemning Trump and the Republican Party, painting them as existential threats to the United States.
The discussion took place just days before the DNC elected its new chair (not yet known at the time of writing), following outgoing chairman Jaime Harrison’s decision not to seek another term. Harrison announced his departure after Democrats lost not only the White House but also control of the Senate in November’s elections.
A Losing Strategy That Will Haunt Democrats
Blaming voters for Harris’ defeat is a political miscalculation that could have long-term consequences for the Democratic Party. The assumption that racism and misogyny were the primary reasons for her loss dismisses legitimate concerns that voters had about her policies, record, and leadership style.
It also alienates the very groups that shifted toward Trump — Hispanic and Black men, young women, and working-class voters — by implying they were influenced by prejudice rather than political priorities.
This strategy of scolding voters has failed before. In 2016, Hillary Clinton’s infamous “basket of deplorables” remark fueled resentment among working-class Americans, further motivating Trump’s base.
Democrats have now lost ground with nonwhite voters, yet they appear unwilling to acknowledge these shifts, instead attributing losses to bigotry.
Rather than introspecting on their electoral failures, Democrats doubling down on accusations of racism and misogyny risks further alienating moderate and independent voters.
If they continue to dismiss voter concerns and refuse to engage in meaningful self-reflection, they may find themselves facing even greater losses in 2026 and beyond.
