Leftists in this country are completely unhinged. They lack any sort of morals.

And Democrats unleash a disgusting response after Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s tragic assassination at a speaking event in Utah, Democrats and their media allies wasted no time pointing fingers at the very conservatives Kirk represented, turning a moment of national grief into a partisan blame game.

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker jumped right in, linking the incident to rising political violence while slamming President Trump’s rhetoric as the spark that ignites it all.

“Political violence unfortunately has been ratcheting up in this country,” Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D) said when speaking to reporters.

“I think there are people who are fomenting it in this country — I think the president’s rhetoric often foments it,” Pritzker added.

“We’ve seen the January 6th rioters who clearly have tripped a new era of political violence.”

Pritzker conveniently skipped over the two assassination attempts on President Trump during the 2024 campaign, showing just how selective liberal outrage can be.

Over on MSNBC, analyst Matthew Dowd didn’t hold back, pinning the blame on Kirk’s own words for provoking the attack.

“You can’t stop with these sort of awful thoughts you have and then saying these awful words and then not expect awful actions to take place,” Dowd said. “That’s the unfortunate environment we’re in,”

Even before confirming Kirk’s death, Dowd speculated wildly, suggesting it might have been a supporter firing off a gun in celebration, hinting at loose gun laws as the culprit.

“We don’t know if this was a supporter shooting their gun off in celebration.”

“We have no idea,” he stated. “We don’t know any of the full details of this.”

The backlash hit hard—MSNBC’s head and Dowd issued apologies, and reports from journalist Yashar Ali and Variety indicate Dowd got the boot from the network for his insensitive remarks.

“During our breaking news coverage of the shooting of Charlie Kirk, Matthew Dowd made comments that were inappropriate, insensitive and unacceptable,” MSNBC president Rebecca Kutler stated. “We apologize for his statements, as has he. There is no place for violence in America, political or otherwise.”

Dowd tried to clean up his mess on BlueSky, posting: “My thoughts & prayers are w/ the family and friends of Charlie Kirk. On an earlier appearance on MSNBC I was asked a question on the environment we are in.”

“I apologize for my tone and words,” he said. “Let me be clear, I in no way intended for my comments to blame Kirk for this horrendous attack. Let us all come together and condemn violence of any kind.”

Arizona Senator Mark Kelly chimed in on CNN, trying to play the middle ground by blaming “political rhetoric” from “both sides” for the tragedy.

“Political violence is never the answer. It divides us. But also, I’ve got to say, political rhetoric, too, from both sides, often gets out of hand and it incites people to do things like this,” Kelly said.

The senator called on everyone to “think about … our words and the consequences of them, you know, from both sides of the political spectrum.”

Conservatives weren’t buying the false equivalence, with CNN’s own Scott Jennings firing back against the left’s twisted responses.

“I think people are already saying things that shouldn’t be said,” Jennings said while speaking on CNN. “Today, a 31-year-old father of two and a husband is dead. There’s really nothing more to say than this is unacceptable and it’s wrong. There is no both-sides-ing it. A man is dead.”
