Donald Trump is furious. He can’t stand most members of the media.
And President Trump fired off a serious threat to this media outlet.
President Donald Trump has labeled The New York Times as nothing short of a “national security” threat to America.
Trump fired off his latest salvo on Truth Social early Tuesday morning, ripping into the paper for churning out what he calls blatant falsehoods. For years, he’s been locked in a battle with this newspaper.
“The Failing New York Times, and their lies and purposeful misrepresentations, is a serious threat to the National Security of our Nation. Their Radical Left, Unhinged Behavior, writing FAKE Articles and Opinions in a never ending way, must be dealt with and stopped. THEY ARE A TRUE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE! Thank you for you attention to this matter,” Trump said in his Truth Social post.
This isn’t the first time Trump has gone after the Times. Just last month, he tore them apart over a hit piece claiming he was running out of steam. The story painted him as fading, but Trump wasn’t having it—he knows the real score.
“[T]he Radical Left Lunatics in the soon to fold New York Times did a hit piece on me that I am perhaps losing my Energy, despite facts that show the exact opposite,” Trump stated in a post on Truth Social.
“They know this is wrong, as is almost every thing that they write about me, including election results, ALL PURPOSELY NEGATIVE. This cheap ‘RAG’ is truly an ‘ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE.’”
The president has taken his fight to the courts too. Back in October, he slapped the Times with a massive defamation lawsuit, accusing them of spewing lies about his business record. This isn’t pocket change—he’s demanding a whopping $15 billion in damages.
The suit doesn’t just target the newspaper; it names several New York Times reporters and even Penguin Random House, the publisher behind a book about the business career of the president.
“The statements in question wrongly defame and disparage President Trump’s hard-earned professional reputation, which he painstakingly built for decades as a private citizen before becoming President of the United States, including as a successful businessman and as star of the most successful reality television show of all-time— The Apprentice,” the suit stated.
Filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, this legal bombshell is Trump’s way of hitting back hard against the media machine that’s been gunning for him since day one.
But that’s not the only courtroom drama. In September, Trump launched another suit against the Times and some reporters, charging them with defamation aimed at sabotaging the 2024 election.
Unfortunately, Judge Steven Merryday dismissed that earlier case, calling it improper.
The Times has built a reputation for pushing a radical agenda, twisting facts to fit their narrative against strong conservative leaders like Trump. It’s no wonder everyday Americans are tuning them out and turning to real sources of news.
Trump’s message is clear: The media is extremely biased against him.
As the battle rages on, one thing is certain—Trump won’t back down.
He’s exposing the Times for what they are: a failing relic that’s more interested in smears than substance.
