The mainstream media has a problem. More times than not, they are against America’s best interests.
And a top news outlet released a disgusting article about this American enemy.
The Washington Post has pulled off another stunning display of misplaced sympathy with its obituary for Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
This outrageous piece echoes their pathetic attempt to humanize terrorist Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi after President Trump took him out.
The paper went all in on portraying the longtime oppressor as some kind of kindly uncle figure, complete with praise for his looks and hobbies.
“With his bushy white beard and easy smile, Ayatollah Khamenei cut a more avuncular figure in public than his perpetually scowling but much more revered mentor,” the Post stated.
“And he was known to be fond of Persian poetry and classic Western novels, especially Victor Hugo’s ‘Les Misérables.’”
“Some Iranians who knew Ayatollah Khamenei before he became supreme leader described him as a ‘closet moderate.’”
Yet this was the same tyrant who spent decades crushing his own citizens under a regime of terror and fear, overseeing the m*rders of thousands.
Serving first as president from 1981 to 1989 before seizing the role of Supreme Leader, Khamenei left a trail of blood across Iran and beyond.
Patriotic voices wasted no time calling out the paper for its disgraceful whitewash of a mass m*rderer.
“This is how the Washington Post eulogized the dirt bag who m*rdered 40,000 innocent civilians this month. This is not satire,” James Woods, an actor, stated.
The Heritage Foundation’s Mary Vought said: “This reads like a dating app profile.”
One furious user demanded, “To Washington Post: What is wrong with you? Why are you describing the mass m*rdering terrorist Khamenei like he was a harmless old grandpa?”
Alec Lace, a podcast host, said: “The Washington Post just published a loving eulogy for terrorist dictator Ali Khamenei—like he’s a sweet grandfather, not the butcher who slaughtered thousands of Iranians and 600+ Americans. Shame on WaPo. Pure disgrace.”
