Christie’s campaign is running on fumes. People are wondering when he’ll bow out of the race.

And Chris Christie reveals an insane election update that you won’t believe.

Former New Jersey Governor and current Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie is not doing so well in the polls.

He’s currently sitting in a distant fourth place at 3.4% according to FiveThirtyEight’s Republican national primary polling.

Christie’s bitter rival, Donald Trump, is in first place with 61.8%.

And even though he practically has no chance at catching Trump, Christie has decided to still stay in the race so that he can serve as another option for Republican voters who don’t want to pull the lever for the former president.

But now, Christie has made an announcement that proves his disdain for Trump even more.

When appearing on MSNBC, Christie was asked by host Mike Barnicle if he would vote for Trump in November.

“No,” was his firm answer.

For a candidate who’s negative net approval rating is a -55, according to the Wall Street Journal, Christie’s answer isn’t likely to win him anymore votes.

And by answering “no,” he broke his debate pledge with the Republican National Committee (RNC), which was named the “Beat Biden Pledge.”

The pledge, signed by “every remaining ‘major’ contender,” according to a December ABC News report, states that, “I affirm that if I do not win the 2024 Republican nomination for President of the United States, I will honor the will of the primary voters and support the Republican presidential nominee in order to save our country and beat Joe Biden.”

“I further pledge that I will not seek to run as an independent or write-in candidate nor will I seek or accept the nomination for president of any other party.”

By breaking the RNC’s pledge, the former New Jersey governor verified his claims in March of last year, when he said he wouldn’t support Trump for president.

“I’m going to go out there and tell the truth. Like the truth matters. The truth is not negotiable,” Christie said to Axios.

“I can’t help him. No way. When you have the Jan. 6 choir at a rally and you show video of it – I just don’t think that person is appropriate for the presidency.”

If anyone has been following Chris Christie for the past several years, his decision to not vote for Trump isn’t a surprising one.
