Donald Trump and his allies are already working on the border crisis. But a new one is brewing in the meantime.

That’s why a border patrol chief went on Fox News to warn Trump about this stunning new border crisis on the horizon.

National Border Patrol Council Vice President Criticizes Political Agendas Over American Safety

Art Del Cueto, the Vice President of the National Border Patrol Council, made a bold statement on Fox Business Monday, accusing certain political leaders of prioritizing their political agendas over the safety and well-being of American citizens. Appearing on The Evening Edit, Del Cueto expressed his growing concern about the shifting priorities within political circles and the media’s role in undermining the efforts to protect the U.S. from dangerous criminal activities.

Del Cueto’s remarks were particularly focused on what he perceives as a lack of accountability among political figures who, he argues, have allowed criminals to infiltrate the U.S. due to political motivations. During the interview, Del Cueto emphasized the troubling role of the media in fueling these issues. The mainstream media is, in his opinion, responsible for stoking the flames of their ambition to cause chaos at the U.S. southern border.

“You’re gonna have these individuals in the media that they want ratings, they want to push their agenda, and they got friends in politics that want to push their particular agenda as well, but these are bad people,” Del Cueto said in reference to some media figures who, according to him, are more focused on advancing their own narratives than addressing real threats to public safety.

The focus of Del Cueto’s criticism also turned to the infamous Tren de Aragua gang, a criminal organization originally founded in 2013 in Venezuela’s Aragua state. Since its inception, the gang has expanded its operations into multiple countries, including the United States. According to NBC News, the gang’s presence spans 15 U.S. states, with potential activities in eight others. Recently, federal agents took action against the gang after a series of terrorizing events in Denver and Aurora, Colorado, which led to the arrest of several members.

The DEA had interrupted an exclusive gathering of gang members at a makeshift nightclub in Adams County, a suburb just outside of Denver. Despite the gang’s well-documented violent history, Del Cueto questioned the actions of some political leaders who seem to allow such groups to operate freely within the country.

“I don’t understand how you would be a leader in any country, any city, any town, any, you know, state, and you would want criminals to stay and remain in your country and state. It baffles me that these people have that type of agenda,” Del Cueto said, voicing his bewilderment at the apparent lack of concern for public safety.

Del Cueto also accused some politicians of allowing criminal elements to thrive due to their personal animosity toward former President Donald Trump. “All I can say, and I’ve been saying it for years, their hatred towards President Trump is greater than their love for Americans. That’s the only reason they do things like this,” he asserted. “These are very bad individuals that came into the United States. All they care about is to expand their criminal enterprises. That’s what they’ve been doing. You know, they’ve found the loopholes to come across, say, asylum, and then get released.”

In response to these threats, Del Cueto praised President Trump and former Border Patrol official Tom Homan, commending their dedication to combating criminal activities and securing the U.S. border. “People like President Trump and individuals like Tom Homan and the many, many men and women out there putting their lives on the line each and every day trying to get home to their families are also out there making sure that these criminals are detained,” Del Cueto remarked.

The conversation took place shortly after President Trump’s January 20th executive order, which declared a national emergency at the U.S.-Mexico border. The order called for the abolition of birthright citizenship for children born to undocumented immigrants and the reinstatement of the Remain in Mexico policy. These measures were introduced to address the escalating migrant crisis, which has intensified under the Biden administration.

As part of this executive order, the Department of Defense deployed 1,500 active-duty troops to the border and used military aircraft to assist in deportation efforts. In addition, the Biden administration repealed a directive that had previously restricted Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from conducting arrests at “sensitive locations,” such as churches, schools, and hospitals. Acting Homeland Security Secretary Benjamine Huffman explained that this shift in policy would prevent criminals from exploiting these locations to evade capture.
