And now a terrifying shooting threat puts Capitol Hill on total lockdown.
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) is standing strong against the wave of threats directed at her and her fellow Republicans.
On Wednesday, she revealed that her office had received a “very serious shooting threat” just days after a second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. Despite these dangerous threats, Luna refuses to back down, showing the kind of courage and resolve that has defined her leadership.
“My office has received a very serious shooting threat,” Luna announced on X, not wavering in her commitment to the cause.
“This division and hate campaign against Republicans is going to get someone k*lled. I will not be threatened, intimidated, or bow down to those using violence as a means to push their agenda. We will win.”

Luna’s patriotic spirit shines through as she continues to fight for the values she believes in.
“America is the greatest country in the world. I will continue to fight for the wonderful people who have elected me as well as those across the country that feel that they are being left behind. Please keep my family in your prayers. Hate has no place here.”
Support for Luna quickly poured in. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) echoed her concerns, saying, “We are right there with you. It’s OUT OF CONTROL.”
Influencer Rogan O’Handley, also known as “DC Draino,” highlighted the gravity of the situation: “They’re trying to k*ll anyone who actually gives a d*mn about saving this country.”
Luna’s resilience is no surprise, given her background as an Air Force veteran and her proven record of standing tall for conservative values.
First elected in 2022 with Trump’s endorsement, she’s running for re-election to continue representing Florida’s 13th Congressional District, where she’s become a champion for those who feel ignored by the political establishment.
In a follow-up post on her congressional X account, Luna detailed the escalating threats, revealing that an online page had been encouraging strangers to send threatening packages to her home.
She explained, “This weekend, it escalated to a very serious shooting threat, and we are taking every necessary step to ensure the safety of my family, staff, and our district.” Luna remains focused on protecting her community and praised law enforcement for their quick action.
“The left continues to push a radical agenda of hate and rhetoric that leads to violence,” Luna noted, pointing to the recent assassination attempt on Trump’s life as part of the larger pattern.
She’s made it clear that Republicans will not be silenced: “We will NOT be threatened or intimidated by those using violence to push their narrative and try and win an election.”
In a separate post, Luna called out Vice President Kamala Harris and other Democrats for their inflammatory remarks about Trump and Republicans.
“The continued rhetoric by Kamala Harris and the radical left about President Trump and Republicans being a ‘threat’ has to STOP,” Luna said, demanding accountability for the dangerous climate being fostered by such divisive language.
Luna’s unwavering stand against these threats is a testament to her character, and her fight for the values that matter to millions of Americans remains as strong as ever.
