Election interference seems to be on everyone’s minds, especially after last election. But no one could have prepared themselves for the truth.
And now, a new report has uncovered terrifying election interference that spans decades.
Since 2008, Google has meddled in U.S. elections at least 41 times.
This new report will have significant implications for the future of elections in America.
The Media Research Center (MRC) claims that starting in 2008, investigators put together a study detailing 41 instances in which Google meddled in elections.
Intensifying in 2016, this tendency is expected to persist through the 2024 election.
Among the organization’s most notable discoveries are the revelations that Google suppressed support for Hillary Clinton and favored Barack Obama for the presidency.
Simon Owen, a reporter at the time, claimed that the internet giant was suspicious of blogs that supported Clinton.
Owens wrote that “[N]early all of [the censored bloggers] had three things in common.”
“Most were pro-Hillary Clinton blogs, all were anti-Barack Obama, and several were listed on justsaynodeal.com, an anti-Obama website.”
Google’s “partners” and algorithm tried to help Clinton defeat former President Donald Trump in the 2016 election.
As part of this, autofill results for Clinton that would poorly portray the politician in relation to suspected crimes against her were excluded.
Additionally, as Tucker Carlson revealed at the time, the tech behemoth collaborated with “partners” to increase the Latino vote.
Google also blocked Tulsi Gabbard’s Google Ads account during the 2020 primaries because she was searched more than any Democratic contender.
“Google’s discriminatory actions against my campaign are reflective of how dangerous their complete dominance over internet search is, and how the increasing dominance of big tech companies over our public discourse threatens our core American values,” she told The New York Times.
Google has already begun to meddle in the election leading up to 2024.
MRC claims that the tech company has suppressed the campaign page of Democratic rival Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in search results along with all other Democratic contenders.
Google displayed Democrat Marianne Williamson instead of former President Donald Trump, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, and other candidates when the search box contained the phrase “Republican presidential campaign websites.”
This report should terrify every American.
Even as the world around us takes freedoms away and falsifies election results, we are America, and we will not allow for this sort of madness.
How much longer will this oppression and corruption continue before we stand up for ourselves?
